Our school is now selling the Kids First coupon books! Now in its 34th year, the Kids First program has raised over $15 million for schools in Hamilton County. Technology has been purchased, school improvements have been made, field trips have been funded and many other important things have been accomplished through this fundraising program. This year, our goal is to sell 1000 coupon books and raise over $7000 for our school. Assistant principal, Mr. LaFevor, has promised a special surprise (Dunk booth? Pie in the face? Hmmm!) if we are able to surpass our goal and sell 1300 coupon books! We plan to use the proceeds for the purchase of additional technology.

The cost of the book, on sale until 9/27, is still only $10 and it offers thousands of dollars in savings! Seventy percent of the funds raised will stay here at our school; the remainder will be used to pay expenses of the campaign and to support other educational programs coordinated by the Hamilton County Schools Fund for Excellence.

Students have been given large white envelopes and yellow order forms. You may still send in orders even if your envelope has not come home yet. We will be sure all orders are sent home the day they are received. This campaign is very important to our school. With your help, we can accomplish our goals and make it the most successful year ever!
