Our Administrators

Debbie Caudle - Principal

Debbie CaudleWe are pleased to welcome back Debbie Caudle as principal of Westview Elementary School. Mrs. Caudle was assistant principal at Westview from 2016-2018 and worked with parents to form a chess club at the school.  Caudle worked closely with teachers to improve teaching skills and the academic performance of students.  Before moving into administration, she was a third and fourth-grade teacher at Wallace A. Smith Elementary.  She wrote and was awarded a technology grant to begin a news team at Smith for students to deliver the daily announcements in a news format.  Caudle started The Blue Knights chess club at Smith and was one of two teachers from Hamilton County Schools at a round-table discussion with Governor Bill Haslam.  She also taught at Woodmore Elementary in Hamilton County, as well as at Polk County Schools in Lakeland, Florida; and Dallas Independent School District in Dallas, Texas.  Caudle holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee, and a master’s from Nova Southeastern University.

Kaleb Brooks - Assistant Principal

kaleb brooksHello! My name is Kaleb Brooks and I am the Assistant Principal at Westview Elementary. My background is in high school education, where I worked at Sequoyah High School as a Social Studies teacher for the past seven years. During my time at Sequoyah I served as the 9th grade team lead, Social Studies Department Chair, and Future Ready Team Lead; I was also a member of Hamilton County Schools’ 2023-2024 Aspiring Assistant Principal LEAD cohort. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, and my Master’s degree in Instructional Leadership from Lincoln Memorial University.

On a more personal note, I have been married to my wife, who is also an educator, for eight years. We met while in highschool and have been together ever since. We have a two year old daughter, Ellie Wrenn, whom we love watching learn about the world around her. I, myself, enjoy all things nerd or geek related - comic books, board games, tinkering with computers, and a plethora of other items. Above all, I have a life-long passion for learning. I am always looking for new things to delve into in order to further my own understanding about the things I am uneducated about.

I am thrilled and thankful to be a part of the Westview team, and I am excited to both lead and learn with the staff and the students at this school.
